Festival of Trees

This is one of the cards we made in class last week, its makes a change to use different colours on a Christmas Card.  I used the Festival of Trees stamp set and the coordinating Tree punch

I have used Tip Top Taupe and Rose Red card and inks with the bow made with the Bow Builder Punch.

The Noel tag is from the Antique Tags set and I have finished the card off with the lace ribbon.

I hope you like,

Festive Flower Builder Punch, Part 3 of 3 cards using 1 layout.

This is the 3rd card I made using the same layout, I have used the Festive Flower Builder punch to create the focal point and for the greeting used the Sassy Salutations stamp set.

I have used some gold gilding wax on the embossed background and on the tips of the poinsettia to give the flower some depth and make it pop!

I hope you like,

Butterfly Happy Birthday, Part 2 of 3 cards using 1 layout.

Hi, this is my second card out of the three I made using the same layout, a birthday card today just to make a change from making Christmas cards.
I love how these colours have gone together, I have highlighted the Tip Top Taupe with some gold gilding wax so it compliments the gold embossing on the small butterflies.

I have used the happy birthday greeting from the hostess set called Happy Birthday Everyone,
with it being large you fill up lots of space on your card and it makes a good focal point.

I hope you like, card 3 to follow

Flurry of Wishes, Part 1 of 3 cards using 1 layout.

This is the 1st of 3 cards I have made, I have used the same layout on all 3 but all they came out very different, why not challenge yourself to do this.
I have used the Flurry of snowflakes bundle on this card which made punching the snowflakes out so easy.  I wanted the card to sparkle so I mixed fine silver glitter in with the silver embossing powder.

I have put glitter glue on the snowflakes for more sparkle.

I hope you like, watch out for card version 2 tomorrow,

Love Debs xx

Dove of Peace, Take 2

This is my second card for my class on Saturday October 10th, I didn't know if I liked this stamp when I first got it, it is certainly growing on me.
I have embossed the Dove in gold embossing powder and then highlighted parts of it with a white gel pen.

I added the die cut Peace and then the small banner with "On Earth"

I then finished the card off with some gold cord and a sparkly gem.

I hope you like,

Flurry of Wishes

Hi, this is a card I have made for my Class on Saturday, I seem to be going through my blue phase at the moment, I do love Lost Lagoon!
I have stamped the snowflakes in Versamark and used white embossing powder, I then punched them out with the Snow Flurry punch, it is really handy as it punches 2 snowflakes at a time.  I used 6 small and 6 of the larger ones, placing them evenly around a circle drawn in pencil.  For the  background I have used the Softly Falling Textured Impressions embossing folder.

I put a jewel in the centre of each snowflake to finish them off.

The Noel is then stuck in the middle of the wreath instead of a stamped greeting.

I hope you like,

Love Deb xx

Wonderland

This is a very Sparkly card, I had seen the tumble dryer technique and thought I can make this much easier.
I stamped all the images and put removable tape over the two greetings then sprayed the whole card with spray adhesive, I then covered the card in glitter, shook off the excess and then removed the tape leaving two sections of the card free of glitter.

I finished the card off with some ribbon and a Snowflake.

The above card used Blackberry Bliss ink and card stock, the next one is made in a similar way but with Night of navy card and ink.

I hope you like,

Reason for the Season

Hi, this was another card we made in my Saturday class, a more tradition Christmas card.

The stamp set Reason for the Season has three greetings stamps included, this one is my favorite, I stamped and then embossed it with gold embossing powder,  The plaque was made by punching all the corners with the trio punch, much easier than getting my dies out.

I stamped and embossed the poinsettia three times, the bottom layer on green and then two on the red but cut the leaves and extra petals off to give it some depth.

Hope you like,

Love Deb xx

Dove of Peace

Hi,  this is a card we made in class yesterday, the Dove has been glittered and it makes the card sparkle.

I stamped the Dove of Peace in Night of Navy ink and cut it out then sprayed it with a fine glue and covered the image in Dazzling Diamonds glitter for that real Christmas sparkle.

I finished the card off with the snowflake vellum and the Peace die cut.

A quick and easy Christmas card, effective but not time consuming.

I hope you like,
