Cards for Saturday Class

I have made these 2 cards for my ladies to make on Saturday, we have a great time, they are such a lovely bunch and are all now friends.  Have had a busy week so far and I am pleased I have got my cards designed before Friday which was what happened last week, so less stress this week just have to do the prep now!!!!!!! 2 Days on the Trot

I have been very good today and got through a mountain of ironing before switching laptop on, so I thought I would put a few more cards on to make up for the time I have missed.  I am hoping to post tomorrow the cards and box I am making for the workshop on Saturday, hope you like these,

New Name!!!!!

Hello all, yes its me after such along time, as you can see I have changed the title on my blog, with the shop closing in February I thought it was about time.  I am still making cards and running my workshops which are now held at the Royal Hotel in Ashby de la Zouch, Leics.   At the end of October I joined Stampin Up as an independent demonstrator, I haven't got a vast amount of products yet but hope to add more over the next few months.  Here are a two of the cards I have made with some of my new goodies, hope you like

A post at last!


I have no excuses now.  Sadly at the end of February 2013 I closed Monks Den Crafts in Ashby de la Zouch, I now work part time so have much more time for my hobby, I still run a regular Saturday morning workshop in Ashby so I still get to see some of my lovely ladies who have become so much more than customers, I count them now as good friends and would like to thank them for all the support they have given me.  I have made lots of cards since finishing at the shop and will try and post much more often to keep you up to date on what I am doing.  I would also like to mention the Tuesday tea ladies who have been great.

Pretty in Pink

   This is a card I made using my stamps and Spellbinders and of course some ribbon.  I coloured the design in with Promarkers, used a mask on the smaller circle dye  and then distress ink.


Black and Cream

 This is a card we made in a workshop, I love the black and cream, the stamps are by Woodware and I have used the lattice Spellbinders dies and my faithful Sizzix leaf die! The backing paper was some I downloaded, I think it goes really well.  I then added the ribbon, pearl and flowers as finishing touches. Hope you like!
